Chicken Salad for the Fingers – Tasty Baby Food Recipe

[ 0 ] June 14, 2008 |

Chicken Salad for Fingers – a really yummy finger food “meal” that is sure to please your little one! We think this would be suitable for babies 10 months and older or for those who are 8 months and older – and able to handle texture and yogurt.

1 cup cooked chicken, diced finely or shredded (to your baby’s preference and ability)
1/2 cup seedless grapes – chopped in a food processor or blender so no choking hazard is present
1/2 cup fresh peeled, pitted and mashed peaches
1/2 cup plain whole milk yogurt

Mix the chicken, grapes, and peaches together until thoroughly blended then fold in the yogurt. You can blend this up if need be and even puree it. If serving as a finger food, please ensure that the bits are of sizes that your baby will be able to manage! Serve cool.

Twist – blend this into a thin puree and use as a sauce over pasta or rice!
